oh well i just hooked up the 2 ohm one and it was significantly louder than the 4 ohm.

The 4 Ohm would be a better choice than the 2? I thought 2 Ohms could handle more power?

I can get a pair of alpine type R's for real cheap right now. The problem is one is a 2 Ohm sub and the other is a 4 Ohm. Is there anyway i will be able to use both of these? They will be hooked up to a kicker kx1000. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adam

I have two 12inch kicker L7s hooked up to a kicker zx1000. I'm using 0ga wire and a 100a fuse that came with the amp. I don't have the gain even half way up and blew the first fuse that came with the amp. So i turned the gain and bass boost even lower and hooked up another 100a fuse and blew...

haha well ****.. guess i'll be goin out and gettin some bigger wire..

What could happen if i use too small of a wire?

Can i connect my kicker zx1000 amp upto a 5ga power wire? I already had the wires run from a previous amp and don't feel like running new ones at the moment. This will just be temporarily by the way. Thanks in advance, Adam

I can get a kicker zx1000 off of ebay for 260. Do ya'll think that would push two L7s pretty good?

Hey I was wondering if anyone has used this amp before and if its any good? I'm planning on hooking this up to two 12inch L7's if its a decent amp. Any feedback would be great.
