If I wasn't scared of any "bias" in the testing I would test it... however It's better if independent people confirm what we already know

both of them are ideal from 35-6khz range... in fact they would probably best or match any speaker currently produced inside this range... with the omega extending into the 10-14khz range the Omega is just all around the better driver... and no it's SVC there is a home version that is SVC 8...

overall the magnet isn't really any larger than you would need otherwise... adding at least 4-6 times the winds for overhung etc you may have more B with a weaker magnet and could possibly even get the same L with enough layers but the mms is so high it would remove all advantages and take away...

$275 is the price right now for the LPG delta set with your choice of alum or silk domes... if you wanted just the xovers and the speakers and mate them with say some dayton neo tweeters it would be around $200 still... we would only sell you the midbasses and xovers however... but you can pick...

$10 more for the delta for a far better overall speaker... shallower, self shielded... full 1mm copper faraday... better BL curve....more linear motor

what I meant was that the drop off is very very steep in this design which is a good thing... you're correct that's what it will do... but ONLY underhung can achieve a BL curve like that... XBL can't.... Split coil can't... overhung can't... the short coil is how we got 4 times the linear...

IB/sealed/ported all work really well for it .7 cubes sealed is nice for it ported I would do 1 cube if you want playback below 40hz... tuning in 1 cube to 40hz is quite pleasing.... it depends how low you wanna go really... .7 cubes sealed will get you into 70hz F3 area... Infinite baffle...

not really.... you get flat BL but it generally drops off very slowly... this is a bit of a different design idealized for as much flat BL as possible while keeping overall costs as low as possible..... I dunno about you but I like using all 18mm of my excursion with good SQ rather than only get...
