@Bobbytwonames thanks!
@hispls yes, its abit tight and tricky to fabricate in the place of the original bose kick panel woofer, lots of carbon fibre to he used there. However in the trunk, there is a 0.5 cu ft compartment on the right side where a good fabricator can do a good job!
Which one would give a nicer quality bass? Front kick panel JL Audio 10TW3 in a customized .45 - .55 sealed enclosure OR same sub in the boot in a .55 sealed enclosure. Car is a 2010 Maserati Granturismo.
What are the best shallow 8”-10” subs that will require sealed enclosures of a volume requirement less than .3 cubic feet and preferably anything close to my amps max output. (500 RMS @ 4,3,2,1.5 ohm).
Im extremely limited in space.
Open budget!
I have run into issues with subwoofer location and fitting. There isnt enough space to customize the seal enclosure to fit the woofer on rear shelf because of the fuel tank. As i have disabled the OEM 5 inch woofer infront of the passenger seat footstep, i have a tiny space for a small size...
My amp is JL Audio HD900/5.
It feeds subwoofer channel
500 watts @ 4 ohm
500 watts @ 3 ohm
500 watts @ 2 ohm
500 watts @ 1.5 ohm
The Subwoofer I am thinking of either
10TW3-D4 (Dual 4 ohm) wiring it down to 2 Ohm
Or
10TW3-D8 ( Dual 8 ohm) wiring it down to 4 ohm
Which woofer do you think...
Can i just fix the sub on the rear shelf replacing stock sub? Or best to remove the stock sub, seal the whole, use the JL new sub in a proper enclosure and place it in the trunk?
