Awesome, thanks. I think I'm just going to run a 4 channel for now, bridging 2 channels to the sub. If I need to expand it later I'll put in a small mono amp to the subwoofer.

I was thinking about buying from the yard sale, but I don't know enough about speaker repair if I get one that needs it so it will just cost more to get fixed. I might as well buy new. I do have an old MTX sub I can try in there for free if I don't like the Kicker though.

My head unit I'm going to install does have time alignment but I've never set it up. I am doing this on the cheap, so the 4 channel to get started might be the best idea for me and then I could get a mono for the sub later and use the 4 channel for the compnents.

I was just thinking they are in close proximity to each other and there left/right. I've never installed components before, and figured I needed a 4 channel amp but then I got curious if 2 channels would work?

I am upgrading my stereo on a budget in my dodge ram. I'm putting a single 10 under the rear seat and only need like 300 watts for that. Eventually I'd like to power the front stage, but not necessarily right now. It seems easier to just get a 5 channel amp to have it all ready to go, but a mono...

I want to upgrade my stereo and am used to a standard harness, but it looks like I might need some sort of interface box thing. Stock is a basic am/fm/CD player, no nav or bluetooth or anything. Is that interface necessary?

I know porter is better, but space is limited. Will one of these subs perform decently in a sealed box and if so how much space do they need? Sorry if this is beaten to death...

So I just found some 3.5" subs. If I can find a way to deal them would it be horrible to put 3 up front do see what they do? I've always heard bass isn't really directional so it doesn't matter where the speaker is theoretically. That could be total bs too...

I honestly haven't torn it apart to see what I'm working with. I'm just going off stock specs. I'll have to look and see what kind of room I've got.
