the ported end was slipped over a post to paint the box. That is why that end looks like that. It also looks less streaky now too. Base coat was latex exterior flat grey rolled on with foam roller. Top coat is DupliColor trunk bed liner rattle bomb.

Ended up ordering a Lanzar Max8 from Sonic for $31.59 shipped (amazon price match) and built the box out of 11 layer birch yesterday. The only change I made was making the port 12.8" long for a slightly higher tune. Pics when the sub comes on Monday. Box is drying until then.

your pdf online shows the box being tuned for 63Hz. Is that optimal for this sub or will it perform well in an enclosure tuned for 32-35Hz? Thanks in advance.

thank you. so the specs are VERY similar between these. Why would you choose one over the other? I like the rubber surround and 2" VC on the Infinity but I like that the Cadence being a DVC can be ran at 2ohm's. XMax is 13mm on both. Both do well in ported boxes, although I wonder why the...
