    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

I posted some pictures of the Eagle last night, but the post apparently has to be approved by moderators. They must be busy!

    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

I'm going to have to show my ignorance, and I did try the search function to no avail. What is a "Fi X"? EDIT: Nevermind, I found some mentions while just cruising the Sub forum. For future members looking for the same thing, here's the answer...

    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

LOL, you guys are funny! OK, I went up to the pawn shop and talked with them briefly. The Alpine subwoofers were type E, and after checking things out on Amazon they were overpriced. They weren't impressed with the rifle (me neither, honestly) so I guess the deal is off. So, if I have to...

    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

I'm not sure, but I sure can go find out. Would one of those be ideal? Would any of them be a big mistake? I'm planning on a sealed enclosure if that helps.

    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

That's just it, you guys would know that Alpine makes 10 different subs- I didn't, and I don't know which of the 10 would be appropriate for what I'm wanting to do with them. For anyone familiar with them, which of the models they offer should I consider? I'm looking for an education here-...

    Help appraising Alpine 10" subwoofers

Hey guys, I'm looking for a pair of 10" subwoofers for my family's Ford Taurus. This is my daily driver, so I'm looking for bass extension for rock and country. Here's my combination so far: Alpine CDE-125BT head unit HiFonics Falcon amp for front stage- 90W x 2 Polk 5x7 DB571 front...

    Looking for small amplifier

That is definitely on the big side- too thick to stuff inside the dash. The Elf Audio / Arc Audio ones look great, but I'll have to find a used one. The Alpine KTP-445 looks like it would work too. Any other suggestions?

    Looking for small amplifier

I'm not sure the HiFonics will fit, but I've always been a fan of their amps. I wish it would.

    Looking for small amplifier

Yes, the little Alpine amp may do the trick- I was just strolling through the classified ads trying to find a second-hand one. I'll start checking for the others too. The KTP-445 is listed for my HU.

    Looking for small amplifier

Hey guys, My stock radio died in my 2001 Silverado. I replaced it with an Alpine CDE-125BT, but its weak built-in amplifiers are pathetic. Can you recommend a physically small but robust 2-channel or 4-channel amplifier that I can pack into the dash that will give me some better sound from my...

Considering a couple head units, no recent experience

Hi everyone, This is my first post on this forum, so please be gentle! I was a car stereo technician in the 80's but gave it up for engineering school. I haven't had any good luck in the few (2) new car stereos I have bought in the last 15 years, so I'm looking for some feedback from you all...
