I just recently got rid of a 2002 Chevy Ext cab Z71. I had two 10s firing down and it sounded awesome! However, sorry I can't really say if it would've sounded better firing up. Firing down definitely satisfied me.

I'm considering going with (4) 12" Brahmas now, but I also would like to take a look at some of the spec on the DP subs. Anyone know where I can take a look at some? Please help!!! I will be closing in on my decision by the end of the week. Thanks all for the help.

What's the price range on Brahmas or XXXs? Are they as durable as JL. My only reason behind JL is I've always dealt with them and have had the best of luck with their products. Always open to suggestions though!

By the way, just for a few more details, the entire bed will practically be taken up by the box of course seperated into four equal chambers and braced like you wouldn't believe. This will turn out to be a ported enclosure. Will start posting pics as soon as the box building commences.

I've got the money for the alternator, I've been told by someone on this site that H.O. alts rob horsepower, and that I just can't afford to lose. (I don't have much to begin with) Well guys looks like the search begins for a new alt!

Trying to keep it at 5" top mount depth at best. Would like to find something a little more shallow if possible.
