Update- got the buzz/hiss fixed. Reran the power supply wires separate from everything else. The whine is still there.

I’m about to start my first install, and the only thing I am unsure of at the moment is how to locate which wire is the remote turn on. Is there something I should trace the wire from? It’s in a 2019 Chevy Spark using the factory head unit. Thanks!!

I get it- not everyone likes the vehicle choice. Any suggestions on the audio equipment?

I think I’m going to go for the sound treatment, amp, and replacement speakers. What would you all suggest for the pillar tweeters and front door 6.5”s?

I had a 2014 before this, drove it 99,500 and had one minor coolant leak and replaced the rear shocks.

What’s the best way to do that? And, would deadening the front doors and replacing the speakers make even more of a difference?

Yea I know- the return policy is that I can find another new car for under $200 a month. Just trying to make the best out of what I have. I would be willing to add an amp on the new speakers. I’ve done tons of home/studio/club audio work as a DJ, but very little in cars, so I don’t really know...

Hello! I just bought a new 2019 Chevy Spark, and was surprised to find that there are grilles for rear speakers, but no speakers or wiring there. I guess the 4 speaker system is the two small tweeters up by the windshield, and the 2 6.5” in the front doors. I haven’t shopped for car audio...
