Haha, nah I have an 09 civic coupe not sure what the amps are for the alt.

With this setup, how do I ensure that no clipping will happen, ie... what is the best wiring I should use power wise, do I need to upgrade anything electrical on my car... I would like the smoothest cleanest sound possible listening to mainly rap.

appreciate the info, sounds good to me I think I will give it a shot. now if I run this with the fi Q will there be any clipping since the rms is 1000 or should I just turn the gain down on the amp? and will the electrical in my car be okay I have a 09 honda civic coupe?

Should I get an aq1200d or an sax 1200d. I want this system to last a long time so any opinions are wanted. Should I be looking for something else or are these amps good choices to constantly run @ 1 ohm daily. Thanks for the help

Thanks for the info, does anyone recommend a different unit then. Time wise I can't keep pulling the head units out and swapping them if I have a problem

I am debating between aq1200d or sax 1200d, or should I be getting something with more head room so it's not always pushing everything it's got @ 1 ohm? I'm just getting one 12 and want this system to last for a while. Would there be any clipping going on with either of these amps?

I've read alot of issues about a "reading" error with this unit. I really like the features though. Does anyone know if the issues have been resolved or should I try it and hope for the best?
