Is there anywhere I can pick up a pre fab ported box built for the Type S or Type R? I don't wanna go thru the trouble of designing and building a box. Call me lazy, but I just want to put something together quickly and nicely.

I don't plan on upgrading the amp later on. I've spent over $2000 the last couple years on stuff for my car. I just want something reliable that sounds great and will last until my car dies:fro:

I wouldn't buy from them My Clarion refurbished unit tanked on me after a week. My friend bought a Pioneer unit from them that tanked after 5 minutes. They then sent him one that was DOA.

The amp is running at 1 ohm and it's 1 ohm stable... I've been running this set up since last July and it hasn't started doing this until now. Perhaps one of the wires going to the sub came loose inside the box?

My subwoofer keeps cutting out. It'll play bass for 30 seconds, then cut out for 10-20 seconds, come back on, then shut off for 5 minutes at a time and then come on for 10 minutes. I can't predict anything... I checked the fuses, none are blown. The power light on the amp remains on even...

It is facing the trunk lid. If you open the trunk, the sub is literally 3 inches away from the trunk lid. I had to do this because at first, I ran out of ground wire so the box had to be close to my grounding point (the bolt on near the trunk lid. I ordered more wiring though and I'm redoing...

amp is in the trunk with the sub. Amp is 1ohm stable. Amp works fine and I played it for 2 hours last night in cool temps. But when it gets hot outside tha amp cuts all the time.

It may be overheating. In which case, it probly won't matter what resistance you are running with.
