am i just crazy? or is this possible. on very hott days when my cars been sitting in the parking lot and its scorching to get into, the 12" L5 on 450 watts i have hits soooooooo much harder than when its cold, like at night. Im thinking it has something to do with the fact that the air expands...

its a 60A fuse.. thats what came with the kit. so u guys think 8 gauge power should be fine? what about speaker wire? 12ga? 14 ga? also when im adjusting the gain, should the sub volume on my alpine deck be @ 15 (max) ? and also what about the bass boost (0-18) on the amp?

When you say bass boost are you talking about the 0-18db boost on the amp of the 1-15 setting on the alpine head unit? sorry i just wanna make sure i get this right.

The profile cl600m only seems to have 2 options for subsonic filter: 20hz and 50 hz. The box is custom built exactly to kicker specifications for vented box. Also, when im adjusting the gain, should my alpine head unit bass level be at 0? 15? somehwere in between?

I've heard the cvr 12 in a medium sized sealed box and it sounded awesome, so i figured u couldnt go wrong with a 15? i dont really have a massive budget. I dont want to spend more than $140 for one sub.
