So, your saying that the EX brackets won't fit in place of the LX brackets at all? I know that I will have to get it custom done if it doesn't, but I was thinking that the EX models had 6x9 speakers in the back because they are a better model then the LX and maybe the bracket would fit...

If you bought them brand new....they should come with the crossover 'cuz mine did. The crossover is that extra couple wires that come in the box.

Check out the Infinity Kappa 693.5i model 6x9 speakers if you want good sound quality. They are by far the best 6x9 speakers for the buck!
