I'm in need of help. Sub has a RMS rating of 800W and a Max of 1600W 2OHM. Amp has a rating of 900W at 2 ohm and 1200W at 1 ohm. Should i run the sub on a 1 ohm load feeding it 1200W or should i just run the sub on a 2 ohm load feading it 900w?
thanks guys, since it was fairly nice out today i went and had a look at my audio wiring, its such a mess, but nothing seemed off except a part of my Remote wire was touching the metal would this have caused the amp staying on?
ok i look at the amp and the remote wire isnt touching any of the power, can it be that its grounded some where or is touching the power side of the amp wire else where?
the thing is i didnt do my own wiring which should have been done from the get go but i didnt because i was being lazy. No relay running to the amp. and it been doing this for about two weeks now. I dont think there is any battery issues and i also have no idea where the remote wire is connected...
Recently my amp has been staying on even after the car is turned off. I didnt do this before, but i started having electrical problems lately in my car a couple of weeks ago. So how can i fix this problem?
well i bought my speakers from eBay, teh xplod amp/subs where from a friend who didn't want them adn teh amp was from a shop around me. Im planning on re-doing my entire system though
