Said screw the 10's...I'm going to cram a sealed 12W6V2 in each corner...Should sound great and go like hell when I need it to...I know it won't be crazy loud, but thats ok...I'm thinking a 1000RMS/pair, what would be overkill, being that there in a fairly small sealed box, they should handle...

Anything wrong with this amp? I lined up a decent good price from a local dealer...The website doesn't list it stable at 1 ohm, but the box clearly indicates 1500rms @ 1 ohm??? 600 Canadian...brand new etc...

Was looking at JL1000/1, but for the money, there had to be some options. Or cheaper options. Powering two sealed 12w6v2's any suggestions...Is 1000rms even enough? BOx volume will borderline on the small side. With 2- Dual 4ohm subs, It will be a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load...right.

The boxes will be custom fiberglass...The sealed box would be small enough to easily flush into the side of the car...The ported box will take a little more work and won't fit quite as nice, but will definately have more output...This is why I can't just try it.

Will a sealed 10w6 have more output than a 10w1 ported...I've already got 2 10w1's ported in another vehicle and they're not quite loud enough...the w6's will be sharing a 1000 rms. I know the w6's will sound better,but will they be substantially louder?

I already have a line on the Jl subs...I just need some advice on whther to run them sealed or ported...Sealed would be easier to flush into the space available, but I'm worried I won't have enough output...10w6v2 sealed, 10w6v2 ported or 12W6v2 Sealed? What do you think?

Dude, I've got 1.2 cf/sub absolute MAX...There will be two seperate enclosures...One on each side of the car, flushed into a cubbie hole...I DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR A 15...

The subs will be in two seperate enclosures...I don't have enough room to do a 15.

Trying ot decide on what to run for a sub combo in my Magnum... I'm not looking to make huge SPL, but for reference, 2-ported 10W1's on a 500/1 don't quite cut it...Thats what I've got in another vehicle due to space limitations. 2-10W6v2's sealed 2-10w6v2's ported 2-12W6v2's sealed Maximum...
