i was able to to add my amp wires quite easily to the stock actually, so that worked. i did however notice that my battery is bulging on one side and after sitting all night it drops down to 11.9 volts. probably gonna need a new battery soon, my car calls for a group 35 but im hoping i can fit...

Looking to replace my stock terminals with some aftermarket ones that will make adding my amp power and ground wires easier. the pic below show the kind of terminals im thinking about using and the other pics are my current stock terminals. cutting the ground out and replacing it is no problem...

so if my amps manual states that a 300 amp inline fuse is recommended....shouldn't i at least do that?

I know you fuse for the wire, because if there is a short you want the fuse to pop so your car doesnt get set on fire. my wire is rated at 450 amps at my length, so a 400 amp fuse would be fine correct?

@Jeffdachef So what size fuse do i need by the battery under the hood? if i have a total of 3800 rms wattage, divided by 12 volts or so i get 316 amps....add in the class D efficiency of say 75% and i get roughly 395 amps. so what i ordered is a 400 amp ANL fuse holder and fuse. does this sound...

ok got in, just needed to remove more side panels. here are the insides, can anyone confirm that this is still the good board? my insides look a tad different than post 1 in this thread but is that because the nvx is original and the soundstream was a clone? [/img]

nvx just arrived today. not as easy to get into as the soundstream, anyone know how to see the board? ive removed all bottom screws and both side panels, i think the top is supposed to slide out but its not budging, could be the led wiring connected to it underneath which i cant access?

although if my electrical system is up to par i should really have no voltage drop, or at least very tiny amount, from the front battery to the amp? so if i just want to hook up into my power and ground wires that were for that in dash clock, that would work also correct?
