it's all about the impedance on your voice coils my man. for this amp in your situation, you'd want to find 2 subs with 4 ohm single voice coils. wire them in parallel... then bam. 2 ohm load

Haha nothing big. It's not even installed yet. But I've got a pair of SA12s and a MB Quart 2k RMS amp. I'm waiting on the box. It's going inside an 05 Ram 1500 QC.
