What type of birch do you guys use? Is it the kind with birch veneers front and rear with a softer core or the kind that is solid birch, veneers and core? The kind with veneers front and rear with a softer core is all I can find around here.

I've never used plywood, but I'm willing to try it. What is the construction method, do I just glue n screw? Air nailer? .

What about MDF vs. birch for a box for 2 8's? Is there significant difference?

Big fuse at the battery. Fused distribution block (or distribution block with separate fuses) for each amp. Without a fuse for each smaller wire if one of them shorted out it could melt before popping the big fuse near the battery.

What about the NVX stuff? It looks like Sonic has a deal for 20 sq ft for $60 and it comes with 20 sq ft more for free. 40 sq ft for $60 shipped? I'm not looking for perfect, just something decent for a daily driver.

I need to deaden two doors, where do the cool kids buy their deadener at?

I've got a DC 175.4 and I'm wanting to use two 6.5's and tweeters in each of my front doors. Looking for some speakers that can handle the power but not kill my bank account. Suggestions?

I got an email from aq saying the new 4x120 should be available in 2 to 3 weeks for around $299. That's a little more than I was wanting to spend, but the extra power would be nice!

I have a 4x90 I'm trying to match, but the 4x120 would be awesome to have! Any idea on what it's gonna sell for? I'd have 3 different size amps with my 1200.1, but the 120x4 sure turns me on lol.
