Thanks, that is something else I was thinking of trying, and I did run the RCA cables on the opposite side as the power/ground.

I am pretty much stumped and have read and tried almost everything, I really need some help. My Subwoofer is not working correctly, it cuts out or "Clips". Not really at that high of volume, and it is rather quiet even before it cuts out.   My Setup:   2001 Mustang GT with Mach 460...

Ok, I'll check, but I read several customer reviews of my amp that have the same problem so it might just be a characteristic of that particular model and I might have to upgrade later. Thanks, Mike

I recently have been having trouble with my Amp/Subwoofer cutting out or maybe "clipping" at high volume. If I turn the head unit to volume level 17 or so, out of 35, the sub seems to stop working, not entirely, but not like it should. Recently the speaker leads were ripped out of the amp...
