I need new highs badly because right now im running factory speakers with 2 12" L5's. I've got an '02 Chevy Blazer with 6.5's rear and front. I'm going to try and put them in myself so I'm going with all coax and I'm looking to see what would get me the best highs for 2 sets of speakers priced...

yea I know system=more then subs. I'm gettin speakers when I get a job. I have a stock Bose speaker set now so it sounds alright, but I'm trying to get some Kappas when I get some money. And around my way it'll be easy to sell the L5's so I don't have to worry about that.

oh, and if someone could explain amps to me thatd really help out. i undertsand what they do and all, but im not really sure about the types. for something like id be getting, would i be shooting for a mono, 2-channel, or multi channel amp?

yea i kno people in my school that are heavy into car audio and install the stuff for people all the time. one even owns a mechanic shop. he said he'd give me everything i need for like $200 so ill be taking that route.
