having a real hard time finding the harness with the reverse signal wire. Can i just run a wore from the positive side of the reverse bulb?

Was looking at those. I bought a bullet style camera. I think i cam find a spot for it in the bumper or next to the handle in the plastic.

Well.. was misprints in the crutchfield side of things. They cross-referenced one module with another and found there was a mistake.

I have a versa note. Its a hatchback. Im looking to get a backup camera, but want something that is a bit inconspicuous. I dont want something that sticks out. By the look of where the license plate is, I think the view would be obscured if I got one on a plate frame.

Just stinks that none of the issues were my fault. It was misprints in the manual. Ugh

Update on this. I was starting to feel like a crazy lady. Anyhow....i talked to metra a few times, but it was a nice lady from crutchfield that cross referenced the connectjons with another sweet. THEY WERE DIFFERENT! There mustve been a misprint. Anyhow, they sent me a pac swc. Hooked it...

I havent gotten anywhere with Pioneer. They want me to send the head unit to a special division and have them look at it. Im not too keen on that. It will take a month or more. Im hoping to get into the store I bought it from (bestbuy) and discuss options with them. Hopefully t hey can give...

Just did a continuity check at the wire the unit says isn't connected. There is continuity all the way to the unit. Im thinking there may be something wrong with it. If that's the case...uggghhh. at least I'll know.

I'll try that. It registers the number of red blinks acknowledging the right head unit.

Yes.. it just reads an error thats not the error. Ot says a wire isn't connected and it is. Im going to check the connector to see if it is getting a signal.
