Fixed version. Of course this is a really rough estimate, as it's just the size of the sub itself and not just the exposed cone measurement. Still helps to get some idea.

Wow I totally messed that up. I made it years ago, I squared at the wrong step. Thanks for catching that What thread's it in? I'll fix the error and throw it in there.

I don't think I've posted this here before but a few people might find it helpful. It's a rough estimation as some will have more cone area and less surround area and vice versa. Use the colors to determine how many of one size will yield the same cone area of that number of another size.

I installed my LI awhile back and one day one of the voice coils just stopped working. The tinsel looks connected and everything, but I don't get any connectivity when I check it with my DMM. I'm running it on a single coil now, will that damage it? And does anyone have any ideas for fixes...

I won't be able to purchase until next week, but I've got $220 shipped on an amp that solid amp that won't overheat and does that power well. It's gonna be used to power an IA Lethal Injection 15", it's currently on a real crappy 460w@4 ohms kenwood amp. Lemme know.

Subs don't lag you big dick. The only difference between an 8" of certain sub and a 18" of a certain sub is usually the very little added weight of the extra cone (and basket size, etc, but those aren't moving parts..), and that's not enough to make any lag.
