PG is a better amp overall

i wasn't talking about short speaker wire, but long power wire. if you buy cheap ****, esp. connectors, you will lose voltage. you can pay $5 for a copper one, or get a 80% silver connector for $40 that will offer much less resistance.

for sq i like diamond the best, see if you can listen to some of their subs, they rock. if you get a deal they aren't too expensive, I know i'm on a budget and I can get some good ones! Check out the M6 or MD subs for SQ. http://www.diamondaudio.com .02$

if you have the money and the space, i'd go with the 12"s

could have a bad ground wire or have your power wire next to your rcas/speaker wires

dont wire together different subs! i promise you it will sound bad

try and find an old kicker amp, i think they're zx or dx models they're much better than the new kicker amps

x-overs split the sound between the tweeter and woofer, sending the tweet high freq. sounds and the woofer mid-range freqs. get one that you can adjust, cause you'll want to play with it. you'd want one anyways, cause the HU sends all the freqs. to all the speakers (assuming you dont use an amp.)

the clarion 725 rocks! the face motors down with the push of a button, ejects the cd, and after you insert the cd it closes on it's own. all clarion stuff is excellent! the 615 is last year's model, and i think they are more ugly. I'd go with the newer one if i were you.

be aware of "B" class items, stuff that looks OK, but actually has a small defect from the factory. It is labled B but do you think the seller will tell you if it is???

sealed = sq ported = spl loud but not accurate bandpass = **** very simple! sealed is what it sounds like, a woofer in a sealed enclosure basically ported is a box with a hole in it... usually long and wide. dont even think about bandpass, they're only good for a small freq. range.
