Get the dayton 12" 150w sub. Its awesome. I live in an apartment aswell but i just keep the gain low. Especially at night;)

my 12" is taking 800w daily and its begging for more. Make sure you have the power for these.

The sub is awesome;) I wish i could use it to its full potential but I cant have the neighbors pissed. Its really overkill for my room but im loving it. It had good reviews from the avs forum if that matters. But for $140 im verry pleased.
