my sister has the blaupunkt san jose and it is awsome. i have 2 12" blaupunkt pro comp supwoofers. they have decent spl and very good sq. the company has been around forever. they came from germany, they just aren't known very well.

look in a crutchfield magizine where the Q-logic boxes are. it gives the measurements. just find out what volume you need and copy the measurements. thats what i did and it worked out fine.

i'm not looking to get new subs, i was just wondering. my friend just got a system with 2 12's in a sealed truck box and a legacy 1600 watt amp. all that his does is make noise. there is not deep bass. all that it does is rattle his trunk. my 2 12" blaupunkts with only 760 watts in sealed...

i am just wondering what the sound difference is when using different ohm, 1,2,4,... will a higher ohm make a lower sound and a low ohm give just loudness? i like bass really low and not just loud noise.

are alpine subs any good? you can get 2 for $130 at best buy. they are 600wt 12".

are cerwinvega's new HUD subs any good. i want to put 2 twelves in my sealed truck boxes. they are 2 fer 1 deals. would sony's 1000 watt amp be enough to power them.

if it fits in perfectly, how does the sleeve connect to the dash. does it somehow bolt in?

i want to beef up my trucks engine. it is a stock efi 350 on my 1990 chevy. i want to put on new headers and exhaust and an open air filter(cold air). anything else cheap that i can do? need help.

i am doing an install in a 1992 ford (yuk!) Crown Victoria. what do the install books mean by saying that it is a "perfect install". do you need anything besides a wire harness. any help.

I agree with saturnscott. get a new and more powerfull (keep in mind that RMS is more important) amp. even a cheap sub will sound good with enough power and the right box.

take a look at the pioneer DEH-P7400MP mentioned above that is for sale. that is a very nice hu. it has full motion displays and screen savers. the display is nice because you can see it in the sunlight. at 50x4 peak and i think 22x4 rms it can play real loud too.

i have a jenson hu and a laptop and yes, you can use it if you have an aux input on the hu. just buy an Y-audio cable with rca's on one end and a small headphone type on the other and just plug it into the headphone jack on the computer. i just use mine for mp3s, but it should work for dvds...
