Ok, so either way if my amp manual says it shouldn't go below a 4 ohm load on the bridged channel I'm better off running the one 10?

Subs model# RT1044 Amp model# 200.4 All I am looking for is something to start off with and then get a better amp later to power the subs. I just want to know which would be better... one sub or two?

Hmmm... I was told that if I ran the subs in series off the one channel it would be a 2 ohm load and my amp manual says I shouldn't go below 4 ohm load with the mono channel.

The subs are 4ohms and the amp's manual says that the rear bridged channel should be no less than 4 ohms.

That's why I thought about just running one of them off the amp. But my installer says I should run both subs in series. I don't need alot of bass but I would like something to start off with and then get a better amp to run the subs with at a later date. So, any input on which way I should run...
