Amp power wire and Component speakers for 2000 Accord Sedan

No ramps. I realize a lot of people on here have garages, large tool chests, and even houses, but I live in a studio apartment. Thanks. That actually would be helpful, but I've decided not to pursue this hobby anymore. Just don't have the time. Thanks for the input everyone, but I'm...

Amp power wire and Component speakers for 2000 Accord Sedan

Battery is on the driver side. But yeah, how would I even know if I'd hit anything until I drilled? I really don't want to drill through. I posted my amp and sub on craigslist, and if they'll sell, I'm just gonna do the 4 speaker replacement and call it a day.

Amp power wire and Component speakers for 2000 Accord Sedan

I'm not sure if I want to run amp power wire or install a component set. That's why I posted this thread--was hoping someone would have a picture of where the power wire is supposed to go through the firewall, or suggestions on the best way to install a component set for my gen accord.

Amp power wire and Component speakers for 2000 Accord Sedan

The factory speakers sound like hammered dog shît. So at the very least, I'll replace the door and rear deck speakers with some reasonable alpine coaxes that can run efficiently off the head unit. But if I'm going to through the trouble to run the amp power wire/rca's/etc, then I'll definitely...

Amp power wire and Component speakers for 2000 Accord Sedan

I'm still debating if I want to put my 4 channel amp/sub in the car, or if I just want upgrade the front and rear speakers, run them off the head unit, and call it a day. I was trying to get an idea for what difficulties I'd encounter and this is what I'm wondering about thus far: Running the...

Cassette Slave pocket for 2000 Accord?

Civics were easier to deal with Now I've got to figure out whether I want to sell my old amp/sub that are sitting in the living room and just upgrade the door/rear speakers, or if I want to go through the pain of installing it all.

Cassette Slave pocket for 2000 Accord?

I guess my best bet would be to try to find that large backpanel you've got down in the large pocket area.

Cassette Slave pocket for 2000 Accord?

My Accord had a strange factory stereo: a double DIN CD receiver + a cassette player slave. I have an Alpine unit installed in the double DIN area now, but the cassette player slave remains because I can't find a pocket/panel to fit it. At first glance it looks like single DIN size, but it's...

    Need Help! Annoying Alternator Wine

Use twisted pair RCA cables. I recently replaced my twisted pair RCA cables with some non-twisted pair (big mistake). I had no alternator whine before, but now it's apparent. And my power wire and RCA's are run down opposite sides of the car. Cheap $15 twisted pair RCA's are much better than...

    Free MECP Study Guides/Practice Tests

It's $40.00 I don't want to spend, on top of the $80 I don't want to spend on the test fee. But I don't really have a choice on the latter. I'm hoping I might on the former.

    Free MECP Study Guides/Practice Tests

Does anyone know of any free MECP (basic) study guides/practice tests available on the web? I've had good luck finding free study materials for other tests online, but MECP seems to be some highly guarded secret.
