I've run those Polks, the ID, and the Alpine. Of those three, the ID are my favorite but the Alpines are nice as well. Can't speak for the Arcs though.

Could do a box on one side with the dimensions posted by Cruzer and do an external aero port firing over the top of the hump. Then lay a piece of MDF on the other side of the hump and bolt it to the floor and mount the amp there

Just get yourself some 3/4" MDF and make a box You could actually get away with just doing a regular rectangular box on one side of the transmission hump and accomplish it I bet. Would avoid the hassle of building the box to accommodate the hump.

Never personally heard Bravox but people that have definitely seem to like them. Definitely can't go wrong with Image Dynamics either, not sure why that wasn't on the list in the post above mine. I run Image Dynamics Cxs64s in my truck and I LOVE them. Crystal clear and a nice amount of mid-bass

You need to listen to people and ground your rear battery somewhere else. The bed of a truck is not a good ground. Many people (such as yourself) fail to realize how important the ground is in a car electrical system. I really think this will solve the problem of the voltage difference.

Looks like a good first box build! Only problem I see is it looks like the port walls might not all be perfectly straight. Could be the camera angle though. But they don't look that far off either.

Wouldn't hurt anything but also isn't absolutely necessary.. Depends on the length you want to go for the install and if you want to spend a little extra time and money.

I wish I'd get off my ass and do some much needed bodywork like that haha.. Looks nice man!
