i dont have the big 3 done yet. i have the factory alternator but i have a kinitic hc 800 in the trunk i have 4 guage everything and my amps say they are getting 13.6 v about and both the amps are ground to the battery in the trunk. I took out all the sub stuff and the amp so it was just the 4...

Today my 4 channel amp went into protect mode today and it has never done that before i think there is something else wrong. what are things i can look at?

i thought they were adjusted right i used i mutimeter and did the volt to watt conversion. Should i look at that again and change it up?

No the seat is usually folded down and the sub is on the other side of the trunk. But i just noticed it get very hot today could the amp be going bad or something? But today was one of the first days of warm weather if that matters

Yeah my mids and highs are amped and they start distorting at about 56/62 so is that about where the headunit clips?

How do you check if your headunit is clipping the signal?

How do i make it so it doesnt clip?

Hi i got a rockford t1 12" and a rockford t1000bd the gain is set about half way so i dont think the sub is getting to much power. But the sub is getting very hot with only about 15 min of play time why is it getting so hot so quick?
