I believe it was 1100 at 2 ohm. Yeah I was kinda pushing him to just get a decent 12 and get a proper box built at like around 35-40 Hz.

Hey guys, my friends in the market for a new setup and didn't want to make tweeter pods for the pillars so he was asking what are the best coaxial speakers would be. He wants some speakers that are loud in the higher range and decent mid range.

Re: bottoming? Just for curiosity's sake, I know with ported boxes it is easily heard but there is also a port that you can hear it out of. So otherwise you would hear some sort of distortion before it bottomed?

Is it possible to hear a subwoofer bottoming in a sealed box that's stuffed with polyfill at high levels?

No I don't use any equalizer except on my mids amp and even that's slight on my sub I havey amp putting out correct voltage at a 0db 45hz sine wave and no loudness is used either all that's turned off I also have a subsonic filter at 20 hz and low pass at 90hz on a 24 db slope.
