The main thing that Im worried about is the fact that it would make for turbulence inside the box from the air rushing through spaces... Will that be a problem, or no?

My old box for 2 12's only had 25 sq. in in 4 cubes(and it sounded great)... Oh well. Any more opinions...

Which would be better for an SQL setup either: 4x18.5=74in^2 or 5x18.5=92.5in^2 Probably going to be running 2 RE SE 15's or Kicker L5's or Type R's(undecided ATM). Box will be 7.5-8ft^3 tuned to mid 30's. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd go w/ about 2-2.5 cubes each. Also, why do you want them in different boxes? It just takes up more room IMO.

I was wondering which of the two types of braces would be better for a ported box... Would the first one create too much turbulence and make for weird port noise or "whooshing" even w/ nicely rounded edges? Or should I just do regular 45's. I know that the triangles would be fine, but I believe...

Hes looking for about 50/50 SQ/SPL... I would like to get SE's, but RE's prices have skyrocketed since the last time I checked... I believe he's leaning toward the L5's... give us some more opinions...

Not to thread hijack or anything, but do you need to set the SSF if your running a sealed box? OT... I belive that just to be safe you could set it 5-10hz under your tuning freq. Im goin off of memory from about 2 years ago when I had my ported box. I had mine set at 25hz and my box was tuned...

My 92 Civic hatch got loud as sh!t with only 2 12's and 500wrms in a 4 cube box tuned to 34hz. IMO hatches are the best and then SUV's but those things are mammoths. A Blazer or other mid-size would be nice. Just dont get an Explorer... those things are FUGLY!
