can you contact Koda? From my experience, most 8's are happy with about a .40 ft3 enclosure, sealed.

I ahve always been a believer in the simple rule: more speakers blow because of not enough power then too much. I would get a nice 75 watt per channel amp - it will not work as hard and should sound great.

I would have to suggest a different tack with your dad. To start with, it sounds to me like he has just enough information to be dangerous. Remind him that technology has changed... remind him that medical science, why not car audio? Hit him with logic... from my perspective, he sounds...

you have a problem much bigger then a bad injector. I would have to think there is a wire grounding out. you need a copy of the GM factory service manual, http://www.helminc.com and a nice DVM.

The transfer case is after the transmission, so I would think that yes, the transfer case being in neutral would cause this problem.

I would suggest: CDT for drivers. JL Audio for subs. One 10" 10W6V2 or 10W7 will hit hard and be very clear. Butler Tube Driver, ArcAudio or JL Audio for amps.

do you have any idea how thin and weak the walls are on your average camper? they are junk. you would do better to build a sub enclosure out of clap board... it would be no weaker.
