off of the amp yes. battery to + on map then - to ground off the amp

Go to an audio shop.They will have the mounting kit you need and the wire harness. Once you have those it will be a lot easier, no need for a wiring diagram

I usually buy a small self tapping bolt and go right the the floor my my trunk. Just make sure you sand the paint off. The bolt only needs to be 1/2 inch or so. What kind of car?
