Yeah I'd love to build, it's just a matter of finding the time.. It's been very slow progression on upgrading my current setup since I've first gotten it, but am to the point where I only need the end of the line with subs/box upgrade which will likely take me some time to actually do as well.

Setup is about 7 years old - I have Alphasonik PSW912s now, current box was a prefab probably tuned roughly 40-42Hz but I could build new, running at .5 ohm.

I'm looking for help on a subwoofer recommendation. Right now I have an enclosure that hits on all 4 corners and touches the trunk lid when it closes, so I can't go any bigger. I believe the box is about 2.3 cubes per chamber, so I am looking to get the maximum output for the space I'm limited...

How could you do on a pair of them? Thinking about pulling my other amp an getting 2 2k+@1 amps or some 3500 that's .5 ohm stable. I'd rather not spend over 600 unless I get a great deal.

I realize this, I'm just throwing out assumptions for mathematical purposes. Most of my posts have been from my phone while working, so I've not been very thorough. I'm also running 2 2000w+ amps, have had well under 13 volts.

Yeah, I have done big 3 and all 0 gauge ofc. The problem you run into is running for periods of time. A 220 amp alt is rated at its max so assume it puts out an average 200 and the car running takes 40 and if I run 2000w at a best 80% efficiency at 1 ohm that's about 180 amps to run, and the...

As an electrical engineer I realize this. I only have a 220 amp alt and 1 extra battery. However, you can't tell me that at a voltage drop a cheap amp holds up like top brand.
