the fleece got rid of the hollow sound becauses it acts as dampening, which is necessary in any sealed enclosure. But its not changing the volume of the box, if it sounds good, i wouldnt worry about changing the internal volume, but u can try droping somthin solid in there to see how it sounds...

IF you used thick enough plexi and sealed it well enough it'll sound the same as MDF, but i needs to be pretty thick, so itll be expensive.

one 15 XXX 2ft^3 sealed Hifonics BX1500D im truly impressed, good SQ and it hits hard for a single sub in a sealed box, expecially for being in an Expo. Ive got a RE 12SE in 4ft^3 ported, and its amazing for the $$. run off the BX1500D its crap ur pants loud. so an XXX would be outragous...

I thought that this speaker could push some decent SPL, or at least from what ive heard. The owner of the store said it would out preform a 12L5... full of crap??? im looking to get LOTS of spl (and decent SQ) for the least money possible. under 500 for 2 hopefully, and these fit the price...

well no sub with a 3ich magnet structure will be "effecient" but JL says it doest cover the sub under warranty if you use over 500 watts with it, im thinking the 500/1 amp, which pairs up nicely with it, do u think i will need the 1000/1??? i want to get the most out of the driver... thanks
