L7 Beater??? 2 12's

Ive got some friends with 2 12 L7's, and they BUMP, but i wanna kick the crap out of them with about the same cash.... POSSIBLE????? If i cant beat em, ill join em, Im looking to spend around $400 for both subs. And i can get two 12L7's for about $350. Which is a pretty sweet deal. Im definetly gonna run them ported, with plenty of power!!!

Even if i got the L7's mine would probably sound better than theirs cus of their installs, but i wanna blow them out of the water!!! :ready_to_

Get 1 monster 12 or 15 so you can blow him out of the water with half the cone space. Id say possibly get an Resonant Engineering XXX 12 or 15 and give it about 3.5 cubes after all displacment and tune low like 33. Give it about 1600 watts and im sure you could possibly beat him by ear. Its all in the install.

So I think im gonna go with one 15 XXX, anyone know where to get good sub box software cheap??? Im good at building boxes as long as I know what to make!!! If not software, anyone got plans for this sub??? I can fit around a 6ft^3 box....

you call that monster. that's almost 1/2 the size i used for my dual L7 12"s this past weekend at a comp in college station. oh i did a 154.9 by the way with dual L7 12"s and 4 kx 1200.1's. now those subs are no more but i won **** it. oh and for the XXX over the D2 you have power handling and linear throw. beating a pair of properly installed L7's is tuff though i will say that. and for my score, it was on the new termpro.

For the 15" XXX I would send it about 1300wts.. and for the D2 I would send it about 750wts.. What would send better / be louder.. Does the XXX have good sound quality..?

XXX has awesome sound quality and SPL capabilities. i love my D2 and am sending it the full 1500rms day and night. now that is much against the wishes of nick but, she still loves it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
