use some RE SE 8's or eD A 8's for some midbass drivers? or are these just truley 8 inch subwoofers and don't have that high of a frequency response to handle midbass?

well today my eD A 12.22 came. its in a ported enclosure, 2.3 cu ft tuned at 25hz or so. its only being fed 500 watts of my friends 500/1, but it still hits pretty hard. although you can totally tell it can take more than 500 watts. it really does need 1000 to be happy IMO. the low end is crazy...

basically with a cube, all of the sides are the exact same length/width/depth. when the sound wave bounces off of the rear baffle and towards the front, since the lengths are exactly the same, the soundwaves cancel each other out. or thats what i beleive happens. other people know more about it...
