I have a JL 500/1 with 2 W3v2's, Whenever I first turn on the head unit I get a loud hum for maybe 30 seconds or so then it just disappears? I have a Monster 1 Far cap, I also have a JL-300/4 for my highs but I have no noise problems with that????????

To make it simple, you can run one midrange to one channel and one midrange to the other, then connect the tweeters to those midranges with a inline capacitor capping the tweeters off as to not play any bass or midrange, Just treble.....

The only problem is noise suppressors also suppress sound, you lose some SQ more noticably in the highs, I dont like them and dont use them, you are better off finding the real source of the problem and fixing It, IMHO

If you did it right the first time the fuse would not have blown, It wouldnt have taken you days to find out it was the problem, a blown fuse is what most people check first!!!!!!

HI, did you ever get a answer to what was the problem with your clarion vrx, I have the same unit with the same problem, I removed it to have some intieror work done, reinstalled it and now only the cd eject button works, nothing else?? Any help would be appreciated... Marcus
