I'm thinking about getting a 4 channel amp and running 2 of the channels bridged to push a sub at 300 rms watts @ 4ohms. my question is if I use a bass knob will I be able to controll the gains on just those bridged channels for my sub? or will it controll all the channels at once? Thanks

correct me if I'm wrong. It's a safety feature alpine has that doesn't allow you to play dvd's unless your car's e brake is enabled. The switch that you wire up to the ebrake with the switch will toggle it on to bypass that safety feature. so it other words... no ebrake switch, no watching...

correct the yellow wires from the clarion harness were already fused 15amp and 3amp. Thanks for the help I gotta hit up radio shack for some more wire now lol

ok cool, so just to make sure I have this correct. Splice both the yellow wires from the HU harness and run them thru the firewall to the battery with 12 gauge wire and ignore the yellow wire from the aftermarket harness correct?

ooh, I really don't want that to happen since I'll be using the stock battery & alt. So what's the best way to wire it? what type/size gauge wire should I use? thanks
