What size fuse would be the best?

so having power going to the fuse box via factory wiring and adding an another larger wire directly to the battery isnt going to fry my fuse box. I should be able to just unscrew the bolt on my alternator and put the new wire right on top? Thanks,

When i turn up my Nakamichi and SA-12's to a reasonably loud volume my amp will fry all its fuses. Whys this going on? i have a 2 ga ground drilled and tapped to the frame of the truck?

Anyone got any opinions on what head unit i should get for a 800rms system? Like to stay around $170. Thanks

space is no issue. i have an entire empty back seat that i never use. I'd like to Spend around $700. i want something that i can turn up with out having to worry about blowing subs. Basically i want to do a head unit and 2 12" subs in a vented box.
