Just purchased a JL W3 12" based on recommendations but I noticed that the surround is made of foam instead of rubber, which was quit surprising. Was wondering if this would affect the life of the subwoofer ? How do JL's compare to VR Comps ? Thanks

Thanks for the info. Do you know where I can get a test CD or test tone at 80 hz ? My test CD only come with 50 and 100 hz. Maybe an internet site ?

Just received my JBL BP1200.1 Have 2 Polk DX10 at 4 ohms. What crossover point do you recommend to adjust the low pass filter ? 80hz, 100hz or 150hz ? Thanks:)

PPI amps are well praised. How about their Subs ? SQ or SPL ? Am currently debating between Polk Momo, Infinity Perfects or JL W6 ? Suggestions welcomed ! Thanks
