Yes this is a real brand of subs... unfortunately. Some stoner out there thought it would be a good idea to combine two of his habits.... therefore we have Kronic Audio. I heard one of these subs though... and they aren't very good quality, at least not for the price that you will pay for them...

yeah PPI is still in business and still makes amps... but the quality went downhill after they did sell. This amp is from before they sold out and therefore has the better quality. but once again... it is a 1999 model so it is 5 years old, and i have absolutly no idea how long these things last...

A PPI PCX-2350 that is 4 years old or a new HiFonics BX1500D plus 100 dollars I can't really decide which is better because i like my PPI amp, but my friend wants to buy it for 350, and i could get a new hifonics amp for 250... what do you guys think?

Yeah but if it is bent, then you can't fix that with a JB weld... you would need more than that

Yeah that is the only thing that i noticed about it... that it bumped me up a class in competition. If they are the same then i am going to go ahead and get the dual then... I prolly would have done that when i bought it but they didn't have dual back then, just quad.

yeah i know how i could wire it, but i was just wondering if there were any benefits of getting a quad over a dual...

...or you could just crank them up right when you get them so that they blow within the first week and then you have to send them back to get fixed and therefore have to wait a month or more to get them back, during which you will have NO bass... all to avoid a week at half volume... lol i...
