I haven't noticed the cd's being hot, I do however hold them by the edges. I have most all my trim out of my car right now for various installs going down, so I'll check out the back of the cd deck tomorrow to see how hot it's getting.

I replaced my factory (12 ohm) tweeters w/ a pioneer 4 ohm pair, which the factory wiring splices it into the front channel w/ the door speakers, which now puts a 2 ohm load per channel on the left and right front channels of my Alpine CDA-7893 head unit, is this safe for this head unit?

I own the CDA-7893 and I have to say it's by far the best cd player for the money. I absolutley love it.

I thought the Write Text feature in Roxio Easy CD-Creator 5.xx Platnium shadows out if your cd player does not support text writing. But this sounds like a possiblility, mine is a SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW216B it writes at 16x12x32 and was under $100 when I bought it on sale at Best Buy, do you know...

Hello, I'm doing disc-at-once w/ write text w/ titles written in, i'm running on XP Pro but I'm still able to select write cd text, titles still don't display =[

Roxio's CD Text doesn't display, I said that it didn't work, I do know to click the write Text box, thanks for your reply though.

I'm talking about regular cd's not mp3 cd's with ID3 titles.

Is there any CD writing software that will display cd titles, and track names, on Alpine CD players? I know the titles don't show if the cd is made in Easy CD Creator 5 Platninum, but they show if you buy any modern cd from the store, do NERO titles display?

Yeah, and those people piss me off. Please don't put a muffler w/ a 4 1/2" tip on your 1 1/4" stock honda exhaust, the acoustics of the tip will be completely ignored because of such a large sudden increase, therefor making the bumble bee weed eatting noise.
