I think it was the factory amp... That's why I think my next step is bypassing the factory amp itself, maybe gonna have to remove head unit and do the way it was suppossed to be done in thr 1st place...

No, it did not play once I reverted it back to stock. Yes, I did run a speaker wire from the amp speaker output while it was still connected to the factory. Once i connected the RCA's a turned on the car to play music There was a disturbing load noise and smelled like I shorted something out...

I'm thinking I might have shorted out my factory amp... becuase I did that that and i currently have no sound at all from either door...

The amp doesn't have high input plug...

As of right now I cut the wire for my left front door speaker and iI connected the neg and pos LOC wires to it, RCA is connected to the LOC and the amp.Speakers are still hooked up to the factory harness at the door. In have the standard stereo

No, i didn't disconect from the head unit, I didn't want to remove the head unit thats why I used the t-tap and tapped into the speakers from the trunk, after i identified what was front and back speakers, left and right, positive and negative. I'm thinking the t-taps might have severed the...
