I'v had this sub almost a year but its always been in a seald box but now i want to try a ported one just not sure of the best way to do it.

I really dont know much about ported boxes, but can anyone please tell me what kind of box would be good for this sub. I want it to be loud but also want to have a little bit of a deep sound to it if i can. Also how loud does anyone think this sub can be given i have the right box, its in an 86...

If he bought it from an authorized dealer and hasn't had more than a year he can take it back and audiobahn will replace it, probably with a brand new one.

It's an suv but i unhooked the 15 and listen to the 12s alone and i get the same difference when i open the the back glass. The same thing happens when i run the 15 by its self. Should i move the 12s to the back or turn the 12s around so they face the front or what.

Ok, I built this box for 2 alumQ 12s in a seald box and put it behind my front 2 seats, mainly because i have 15 in the back. ? when i open my back glass the 2 12s get really loud more than when the back glass is closed. Is it possable to get the subs to sound that loud without the glass opened...

sometimes u can smell the vc, if its blown i might have a really strong smell to it. Thats what happened to one of my subs.
