I took my HU out of my 95 Lincoln, I want to put it in my 89 f150. The wire harness that goes into the trucks stock radio fits and snaps perfectly into the harness that was on the Lincoln harness. Is it OK to just plug in and go? Or do i need to check anything? Some of the wires don't line up...

The wires came unplugged to one sub the gain setting needs to be different if it's at 2 ohms instead of the one ohm it was adjusted to.

I didn't think it would sound good with an oversized box. I was just asking if my sub can be damaged if the box was too big
