I guess I'll just run another cable. On the amp you can choose either to run 1 or 2, and switch it to read either way. I just figured I would have the one and run the xover on the sub side of the amp on low band pass

I don't understand that? There is already a good quality RCA cable running back to the amp now. It won't work? The manual with the amp says you can use one cable or use two. Why would I need a different amp?

Yes it's a huge pain. There were actually 3 RCA cables running from the dash under the carpet, and under the drivers seat, and I already removed 2 of them. So I'm going to have to make the single cable work somehow.

i only ran 1 rca cable. This is going in a 89 corvette conv and its a PIA to move around and get anything done in the car. Very tight spaces. Is it not possible to just use the one rca cable?

I'm hooking up my Alpine 9884 to my PP 900.4 I'm going to run the ft speakers off two amp channels and the 10" sub bridged off the other 2. And going to run the streakers off the HU. The 9884 has 3 RCA outs on the rear....ft, rear, and sub. My questions are, which RCA out to run the amp. And...

Currently I have the Sony CDX GT56ui currently in my car and I really don't care for it, and I'm thinking of putting in an Alpine 9884 that I have. What are your opinions on these 2?

I got this in today. I plan on running the front channel to power my door speakers and bridge the other channels to run the single 10 I have. The manual doesn't say how to do this. I've hooked up plenty of amps and stereos before, but it's been a while and don't remember how to bridge it...

Well I ordered the Precision Power amp. Had a few questions..... The Alpine HU I'm going to install has 3 RCA outputs on the back, a front, a rear, and a sub output. Which one do I use to run the amp to run the front speakers and the sub? And if I'm going to run the rear speakers off the HU...

I'm not sure if it matters, but since there is no backseat, the rear speakers are right behind the seats. And they are actually closer to your head than the speakers in the doors. Don't know if that matters

hmmmmm, lots of great ideas. The PP amp looks good, and reasonable too. So i guess im wanting more sound coming from the ft speakers correct?

Also has a 10 in a sealed box behind seats. Im not looking for window rattling bass or something...

im looking to buy a reasonable HU to put in my 05 mustang....just want to basically play cd's. Not interested in the ipod and usb stuff. Just want something like alpine or eclipse or pioneer that will have good sq running 2 amps and a sub and comps. Any ideas will be appreciated

not really interested in ipod connections and usb ports......just a nice SQ head unit for reasonable money
