I know you said you don't want to try an OEM integration unit, but the Maxxsonics MX1 and the MTX reQ-5 are MUCH cheaper than the 360 and Cleansweep. I had a MX1, and although I was unable to use it in my car it was very good for the price. Sold it to a friend and it worked perfect for him.

If you meant having them folded up then no. They'll be down unless people are in the back. If you meant having them in the car, yes. I'm not looking to take em' out anytime soon and wall off the back area.
