i'd go with what is recommended by ascendant themselves... pop the specs into winisd and see what it says also...i think its very close to the manufacturer specs

that is pretty whacked with just 55 watts... and those are some pretty big statements...even if only half of what you say is true, that is still pretty daym impressive...especially for the price, i don't think anyone can go wrong then...

well you have to compare the same brand and model of subs if you want to compare apples to apples... even still, did the assassins produced the same output as the xxx? well, there you go...if those assassins costed less, used less space, sounded louder, i don't think anyone would ever consider...

a few thoughts...like that one guy said, i would have put the sub more to the left and maybe put two braces, one on each side...(you can't ever have too much bracing lolz ) and i would have rounded the braces inside, makes it alittle bit stronger i think, just a personal preference... nice to...

i completely agree with you except for one BIG thing... $M$O$N$E$Y$ like i mentioned, you spend $200 on a 12, (generally) will take about almost twice as much space as 2 10's...BUT, you'll be paying about $180 for 2 10's approximately...so you're paying almost DOUBLE to get a a little bit more...

the reason why i usually don't buy 10's is because most of the time, the 12 is like $10 more than the 10... examples: 13kv2 is $10 more than 11kv2, AQ HD12 is like $20 more than HD10 when they are already $300 something, type r 12 is like $8 more than type r 10 on ebay... sure you loose space...

I'm so pissed i never got to buy the tb8's for $35:crying: if i ever get another chance i'd be sure to buy 4...i'm just a sucker for great deals

the xxx and mt are great subs but you pay a pretty penny for them... i'm gonna give the 19Ov2 a chance to see what its made of...hell, for $175 shipped, and a 3 yr warrantee, how can one go wrong... if it pulls within 3dbs of the xxx, i'll be happy...
