I've considered this, but decided against it. I would prefer the stock look provided by an in dash unit.

Its a similar bezel, but mine is the entire front panel like the pic below. I would just have to enlarge the size of the upper opening, but I dont know how I would deal with removing mounting brackets and adding custom ones for support.
