For early 2000s models Fords, what kind of fastener is this that holds in the factory mounting bracket? I have aftermarket brackets for 6.5s that will fit in there.

The fastener looks like it just has a perfect t circle on the head so I dont think Allen keys or star bits would work

It's a pop rivet.

You'll have to drill it out and replace it if you're going to pull it off for any reason.

Ok cool. Yea I'll just drill in some new holes and sheet metal screws.
